Our Story

Dedication and Service

Inspired by Courage. Guided by Compassion. Rooted in Community.

Our story begins with the wisdom found in the Book of Esther. In a moment of great need, Esther stepped forward, supported by her cousin Mordecai, and found favor with the king, using her voice to protect and uplift her people. Their story is one of courage, care, and quiet strength. It’s this same spirit that inspires the work we do today.

Finding Favor, Inc. is a nonprofit organization rooted in the belief that everyone deserves the chance to thrive—no matter their age, income, or circumstance. We walk alongside families, seniors, and essential workers in communities nationwide, creating spaces of belonging, support, and hope.

Working in partnership with affordable and workforce housing providers, we help build homes and healthy, connected communities.

What We Do

Our programs are designed to support residents where they are and help them move toward where they hope to be. We focus on:

  • Serving low- and moderate-income households, especially those earning 50% to 140% of the Area Median Income

  • Creating after-school opportunities that help children reach reading benchmarks by the fourth grade

  • Offering connections for rental support for community heroes—like teachers, healthcare workers, firefighters, and police officers

  • Helping seniors thrive, with programs that reduce isolation and improve quality of life

  • Supporting foster families, coordinating services, and providing educational resources for both parents and children

  • Providing financial tools and training to empower families toward homeownership and long-term stability

At Finding Favor, we believe that finding favor is less about luck and more about showing up—with purpose, presence, and heart. Every day, we work to lift others, foster connection, and help each person realize their full, God-given potential.

Together, we carry forward Esther’s legacy—not through grand gestures, but through quiet, faithful service in the places people call home.
